Project recovery
What is project recovery?
Project recovery is the work of restoring a usable picture of one troubled project: what is failing, which decisions are blocked, who owns what, and what should happen next. It is not a guarantee that the project will succeed.
Direct answer
Bring in independent project-recovery judgment when status is unclear, milestones are slipping, ownership is missing, or leadership no longer trusts the current plan.
Acute PMC does this one project at a time through two defined sessions: Project Clarity ($650, 60 minutes) when the blockage is still being diagnosed, and Project Rescue ($1,250, 90 minutes) when delivery pressure is already material. Each produces a one-page brief within two business days. No outcome is guaranteed.
A practical recovery plan includes
Current condition
A working diagnosis of what is actually happening, not the last green status slide.
Blocked decisions, ownership gaps, and the next 72 hours of practical action. That is the structure of Acute PMC written briefs.

Near-term control
Stabilization priorities, not a 90-day transformation program.
Project Rescue is built for this: 90 minutes, $1,250, executive-ready Recovery Brief, one clearly identified project.

When Acute PMC is a fit
Fit: one stalled, red, politically tangled, or high-risk initiative. Not a fit: staffing, resume placement, or an open-ended PMO replacement.
Limitations
The client remains responsible for decisions and execution. Acute PMC does not guarantee schedule, cost, or recovery outcomes.
Next step
If the project still needs diagnosis, start Project Clarity. If pressure is already material, start Project Rescue.
